Mandarin-duck-shaped Cover for Incense Burner Celadon

Incense burners in the form of a lotus blossom or standing on three
legs were commonly equipped with a lid ornamented with forms
derived from nature. Such incense burners were designed so that
the incense would pass through the ornamentation on the lid. The
feathers of this mandarin duck have been detailed using precise
incision and low-relief carving.
