    An Angbu-ilgu, a Hemispherical Sundial From the Joseon Dynasty 1 min. Every hour, 30 minutes A sundial created during the Joseon Dynasty and displayed in the National Museum of Korea is recreated digitally to provide real-time information about the time, the temperature, the level of fine dust in the atmosphere, and the “solar term,” a system that divides the year into 24 roughly equal periods based on the angle of the sun at the moment.
    Time Shines with Every Color 2 mins. 1st and 31th minutes of every hour The unique colors, forms, and materials of the various museum’s collection is visualized to symbolize the value of museum and heritage that are constantly evolving and expanding.

    5 mins. 8th, 18th, 38th, and 48th minute of every hour This video shows the history and value of movable types from the Joseon period that the museum holds. Visitors can share their opinions on the screen by typing them on their mobile phones. It enables them to experience the meaning of movable types as a means of communication that is both public and personal.
