Turtle-Dragon-shaped Ewer Celadon

Between the 12th and 13th centuries, many outstanding celadon
pieces were modeled after natural forms. This ewer takes the form
of a turtle riding on a lotus flower. The head and front chest of a turtle
were also commonly employed on the pedestals of steles during the
Goryeo period.
