Maebyeong, Vase with Dragon Celadon with incised design

The peony design in the background was executed with an incising
tool that was held sideways to increase the three-dimensionality.
The dragon in an upright position appears courageous. Shards of an
identical vase have been discovered at the kiln site in Sadang-ri in
Gangjin, Jeollanam-do Province that was known for producing the
finest Goryeo celadon.
