Flower-shaped Dish, Celadon

These dishes in the shape of a flower in full bloom are definitive
examples of “bisaek” (jade-green) celadon. They are characterized
by a thin, gently-curving rim that gives a sense of realism and threedimensionality
to the flower image. The beautiful jade-green hues and
the elegant curves of the flower petals aptly demonstrate the distinct
aesthetics of Goryeo celadon.
