Bottle with Lotus Petal, Celadon with incised design

In Chinese tomb murals dated to the early 12th century, bottles
displaying a form similar to these examples are depicted holding
flowers, demonstrating that they were used to adorn spaces. There
is a possibility that such bottles were interred in Goryeo burials to
represent a symbolic meaning as flower vases adorning tombs.
