This is a painting of Pigeumjeong Pavilion from The Album of Paintings of Geumgangsan Mountain. Gyeongpasan Mountain, the guardian mountain of Geumseong Fortress, forms part of the background and is meticulously depicted in the mifa style that originated with Mi Fu of the Northern Song Dynasty of China. The roadside trees and Pigeumjeong Pavilion are simply arranged alongside Namdaecheon Stream, growing gradually distant like in an art book. The picture conveys a sense of calmness and relaxation.
