This Buddhist painting was formerly kept at Naewonam Hermitage on Mt. Suraksan. The wide scroll exhibits a style of Buddhist painting that was in vogue during the 19th century. Prayers for the longevity of the King, Queen, wife of the Crown Prince, and eldest son of the Crown Prince, among others, are written at the bottom-left of the pedestal. The painting was made possible thanks to a donation from court ladies, who emerged as strong supporters of Buddhism in the late Joseon period. It was produced by two monk-painters, Gyeonguk and Chegyun.
