This is a jar unearthed from the Archaeological Site in Sang-ri, Pyongyang, North Korea. The grayish jar was made of fine soil, and has a short, straight neck. Its upper part displays traces left by a spinning wheel, while its lower part displays marks where it was beaten with a club wound with twisted thread or straw rope. This jar is thought to have been made with the earthenware production technique adopted from China during the early Iron Age.
