This is a wooden horse unearthed from Tomb No. 19 in Oya-ri, Pyongyang. The horse’s head, neck, body, legs, and tail were made separately and then assembled into one. Given that small horse harnesses, such as gag bits, have been unearthed in nearby areas, this wooden horse is thought to have been a funerary object equipped with harnesses.
