The proportionate, well-balanced body and the three-dimensional, realistic portrayal of robe’s folds are typical of gilt-bronze Buddha statues made during the cultural zenith of the Unified Silla Kingdom. The octagonal pedestal is adorned with twofold lotus flowers, a typical adornment of the late Unified Silla Period. .
