This is a representative map displaying the Buddhist view of the world, which was largely based on a map contained in Tushu bian, a collection of maps published in 1613 during the Ming Dynasty. The original title of the map is Naseombujudo (Map of Namseombuju). Namseombuju or Jambudvipa is the real world of humans located to the south of the Buddhist world of Sumeru Mountain. The entire continent looks like India, stretching widely in the north and narrowing sharply in the south.
