This ten-panel folding screen is mounted with paintings of diverse scenes, such as the Magistrate of Dongnae’s trip to the Japanese residence in Choryang, Busan to greet Japanese envoys, and the Japanese envoy making a big bow at the guesthouse of the Japanese residence. The names of mountains, buildings, and places around the Dongnae area are marked in detail. The paintings follow the style of Jeong Seon (pen-name: Gyeomjae, 1676-1759), particularly in terms of the methods of depicting the mountains and trees.
