This painting by Jeon Gi (1825-1854) depicts a small house and pine trees beyond the bridge over the creek. Jeon Gi is renowned for his paintings of natural landscapes, and was greatly influenced by Kim Jeong-hi (pen-name: Chusa), an eminent calligrapher and painter of the late Joseon Period. The poem written on the top right concerns a painting by Wen Zhengming (1470-1559), a painter and calligrapher of Ming China.
