This gilt-bronze crown excavated from Ancient Tomb No. 9 in Sinchon-ri, Bannam-myeon, Naju, consists of two - one inner and one outer - parts. The inner cap was made by attaching two semi-circular copper plates and decorating them with floral motifs enclosed by a honeysuckle band, while the outer crown consists of floral ornaments nailed at the front and both sides of the band with heart-shaped ornaments at the end. The use of numerous spangles to decorate the upper and front parts of the standing ornaments displays some similarities with the gold crowns of Silla, but the standing ornaments show significant differences.
