This kundika has a thick mouth extending outward from equally thick walls. The surface appears blackish-brown due to the use of brown iron underglaze. Dark brown glaze was applied to the areas around the mouth and the inside, followed by a coat of gray glaze. Certain objects salvaged from the sea off of Sinan resemble this one in terms of shape, but they feature a different glaze and pattern.
