This white porcelain dish from the late Joseon period displays a fine landscape of mountains with their lower slopes shrouded in a thick fog, a gentle hill with houses nestling in it, boats peacefully floating on a river, and an ancient willow in the foreground. The balanced composition consisting of fore-, middle-, and background along with the masterful brushstrokes and shading techniques suggest that this is the work of an accomplished artist.
