This white porcelain bottle exhibits a faceted octagonal body covered with a transparent but slightly bluish glaze, exhibiting the characteristic features of blue-and-white porcelain ware of the mid-Joseon period. The body is decorated with two delightfully spartan bamboo and chrysanthemum designs painted in light cobalt blue. The clear bluish glaze covering the body strikes a perfect harmony with the bottle’s elegant shape and remarkably simple decorative motifs.
