This ewer displays a mutated gourd shape although the line that flows from its handle piece to its spout is simple and refined. Its body is incised with fine lines depicting a lotus flower pattern, which is expressed in semi-relief in several layers. Its lid resembles a lotus leaf with its split tips covering it. The leaf is also described using incised lines, and is covered with very gentle jade-colored glaze.
