This is a rubbed copy of the stele for Master Sinhaeng at Dansoksa Temple in Un-ri, Danseong-myeon, Sancheong-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do. The stele, which was erected in 813 (the 5th year of the reign of King Heondeok of Silla), has long vanished. The contents of the stele provide important information on the early history of Seon Buddhism.
