This is a rubbing of the Korea-China border marker erected at Baekdusan Mountain after Joseon-Qing talks in 1712 (the 38th year of King Sukjong’s reign) between Mu Kedeng, the then Commander-in-chief of the Ora (or Wula in Chinese), who was dispatched by the Qing Emperor, and a group of Joseon officials.
