This book, titled Xiaoxue (Minor Learning), designed to train the minds of children, was compiled by Liu Zicheng, a disciple of Zhu Xi, at his master’s instruction. Korean Confucian scholars such as Jo Gwang-jo and Kim An-guk greatly valued this work, which was translated into Korean by Kim An-guk to be widely distributed among ordinary people.
