This is a book containing the code of conduct (15 clauses) to be observed by Confucian scholars during the late Joseon Dynasty. Its major contents include the following: expulsion of those who are absent from an important ritual of sacrificial offering; punishment of those who do not comply with the instruction for special duties at night or public holidays; and expulsion of Confucian scholars derided by others for their improper behavior, and other things. At the end of this code, it says that the regulations related to local Confucian schools will be posted in each local Confucian school.
