This is a book of rules concerning the operation of the Guamseowon Confucian Academy, including the procedure for holding sacrificial rites. It was compiled and handwritten in 1826 (the 26th year of King Sunjo’s reign). Guamseowon was established in 1667 (the 8th year of King Hyeonjong’s reign) to honor the academic achievements and virtues of regional ancestors such as Yi Jip, Yi Yang-jung, Jeong Seong-geun, Jeong Yeop, O Yun-gyeom, and Im Suk-yeong at the request of Confucian scholars of Gwangju, and was royally chartered in 1697 (the 23rd year of King Sukjong’s reign). This book contains the list of those responsible for running the school and regulations on the performance of sacrificial rites at the school.
