This book about Kim Je and Kim Ju, two brothers who were loyal subjects of Goryeo, was compiled and published in 1803 by Kim Yang-seon, one of their descendants. After the fall of Goryeo, the Kim brothers retired from public life and led a secluded life, henceforth remaining faithful to the Goryeo Dynasty they had once served. Kim Yang-seon held a special memorial service to comfort their spirits and enshrined their spirit tablets at Gojukseowon Confucian Academy in Andong.
