This wooden tablet shows similarities of shape and pattern with other mortuary tablets placed on Buddhist altars to pray for the good health and long life of the royal family members, including the king, during the Joseon Period. However, the inscription on the tablet reading “sibang sambo jajon” (十方三寶慈尊) suggests that it contained the names of figures worshipped by Buddhists. The tablet is placed on a rectangular lotus pedestal.
