This mirror bearing the inscription “Goryeogukjo” (高麗國造, “Made in Goryeo”) is regarded as one of the leading examples of mirrors made using Goryeo’s own techniques, along with a bronze mirror bearing a crane design. The rear side of the mirror contains a scroll design that surrounds the knob at the center, and the edge is distinguished from the other part with a stripe. The Chinese characters “高麗國造” are conspicuously inscribed in a rectangular frame directly below the center knob.
