This compilation of various theories on the Confucian classic Chunqiu Zuoshichuan (Zuo’s Commentary on the Spring and Autumn Annals) was published by the Jiphyeonjeon (Hall of the Worthies) at the order of King Sejong in 1440 (the 22nd year of his reign). It was the second volume of a total of thirty volumes and fifteen books. It is presumed to have been printed in the 15th century using gabin type.
