The Buddha is seated in a lotus position on a lotus pedestal. The cranial protuberance is not clearly expressed on the conch-shaped hair, and the robe hangs from both shoulders. The left hand rests in the lap, while the fingers of the right hand point to the bottom. The facial expression, the “magic bead” on the head, and the horizontally portrayed underclothes are typical features of Buddha statues made between the end of the Ming Dynasty and the early Qing Dynasty of China.
