This jar was unearthed from the Mongchontoseong Earthen Fortification in Songpa-gu, Seoul. It is grayish-blue stoneware consisting of a round body with a flat bottom and a trumpet-shaped neck. Jars of this type with a long, wide neck were in great fashion during the Baekje Period, particularly when its capital city was located in Hanseong (present-day Seoul) and then Ungjin (present-day Gongju).
