This is a rubbed copy of an inscription on a monument named Cheongje Jungnipbi, which was erected to mark the repair of the bank of Cheongje Reservoir in 1688 (the 14th year of King Sukjong’s reign). The inscription consists of ten lines of Chinese characters. This monument was placed right next to another monument for the original construction of the said bank, which was built in the Silla Period.
