These curved jades were excavated from the archaeological site in Songguk-ri, Buyeo, Chungcheongnam-do. During the Bronze Age, these kinds of accessories were mostly made of amazon stone. They are generally thought to be either earrings or necklace pendants depending on the excavation location. Discovered in an ancient tomb, they were intended as burial objects and had a special significance to the person buried in the tomb.
