This wide-waisted vessel displays a very rare shape for a Goryeo celadon vase. The Chinese characters “Cheongnimsa” (靑林寺) and “Cheondanghwa” (天堂花) are written vertically on its body. Their meanings are unclear, but this vase is presumed to have been used in a Buddhist facility.
