The shape of this white porcelain bowl, which was used to rinse calligraphy brushes, was inspired by a landscape of mountain peaks and ridges covered in colorful autumn leaves. The design on the bowl’s outer surface is painted with red and blue pigments, whereas the inside is decorated with a dragon and cloud design.
