This painting by Jeong Seon portrays a scene contained in a poem entitled Wanglushan Falls composed by Li Bai of China. The painter used his trademark uninterrupted vertical lines to portray the rocky cliff. The composition here is similar to that adopted in his paintings of Guryongpokpo Falls and Sambuyeon Pond.
