This calligraphy of twelve ancient poems in a cursive style was made in 1737 by Yun Sun (pen-name: Baekha) when he was 58. The calligraphy displays maturity, elegance, and a highly developed esthetic sensibility. Yun developed his own style under the influence of Chinese calligraphers such as Wang Xizhi (303-361), Mi Fu (1051-1107), and Su Shi (1037-1101) of the Northern Song Dynasty.
