This painting by Jin Jae-hae (1691-1769) concerns farming and sericulture. It exhibits a style of royal court painting that became popular during the reign of King Sukjong under the influence of paintings from Qing China. It was made upon orders from King Sukjong as an illustration for the ten-year-old crown prince (later King Gyeongjong) on the difficulties faced by common people.
