The shape of this ewer was influenced by its metal counterparts. Peony flowers with wide-reaching branches are skillfully depicted on both sides of the body. Black dots are applied in layers on the neck to create a decoration that resembles a flower in bloom. Crossing black lines decorate the handle and the spout.
