This painting of Jinjudam Pond was executed by Kim Yun-gyeom when he was in his 30s or 40s. It is his earliest painting of Geumgangsan Mountain. Based on the inscription in Chinese characters, it is assumed that this painting was made in the sixth lunar leap month of 1756. The painting accentuates the features of the landscape, and displays the painter’s unique style of portraying objects and tree branches in light colors.
