This gilt-bronze standing Amitabha Buddha is a typical example of such statues from the late Unified Silla period. It has a chubby face, and the lower end of its robe is characterized by sharp edges. The Buddha wears a robe hung over the left shoulder on top of underclothing; the robe’s folds were carved after the casting.
