This painting album is comprised of two paintings portraying the stories of two Chinese queens known for their wisdom and chastity. The ways in which the women and landscapes are portrayed are uncommon in paintings produced in Korea. The Chinese characters on the paintings relate stories about the women. The seal impression made on the second painting reads “Yi Je-hyeon,” but it is uncertain as to whether this is the name of the painter or of the writer of the text included in the painting.
