The National Museum of Korea presents the thematic exhibition ‘The Buddhist Hanging Scroll at Cheongryongsa Temple’ which is the large Buddhist painting used for rituals. This display is part of the regular series of the Buddhist painting exhibition held in the National Museum of Korea, and the Buddhist hanging scroll from Cheongryongsa Temple which was a royal family’s temple in Anseong region will be presented to the public for this special occasion. We hope the exhibition could offer an opportunity to appreciate the Buddhist Hanging Scroll at Cheongryongsa Temple which depicts the scene of Preach at th Vulture peak on a large screen as an early work of Buddhist Hanging Scroll produced in the 17th Century.
