Displays forty painted pottery figurines from the Northern and Southern dynasties to the Song dynasty of
China. Chinese painted pottery figurines were made to be buried together with the dead – a practice that
started in the 11th century BC.
The exhibits include a colored horse with unicorn, tomb statues of animals,and three of the twelve
guardian zodiac dieties of the Tang dynasty.
