2006 SPECIAL EXHIBITION 2
Colors of Asia : Paul Jacoulet's Prints

French artist Paul Jacoulet(1896-1960)'s multicolor prints have been donated by the family of Mrs.
Rah Seongsoon (Thérse Inagaki) to the National Museum of Korea in 2005. In order to commemorate
the donor's intention and enhance the culture of donating artworks, we have organized a special
exhibition, "Colors of Asia : Paul Jacoulet's Prints." We express our sincere gratitude toward the
family of Mrs. Rah Seongsoon for the donation of her adoptive father's woodblock prints to
share with all the visitors to the National Museum.

Furthermore, it is significant to display the French artist's works because this year is the 120th
anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Korea and France. We hope to
open new horizons in the relationship between our two countries through the connection of the
French artist, Paul Jacoulet.
