1.General Information of the Fellowship Program
 A. Tenure/ Number of Awardee 
  ㅇJuly, 2010 - December, 2010 ( 6 months) 1 person
 B. Research Fields
  ㅇHistory, Archeology, History of Art, Anthropology, Collections Management, Conservation, Museology, Museum Education and any museum related fields
 C. Minimum Qualifications
  ㅇThe ideal candidate, scholarly standing and distinction in the field, must possess the advanced degree and professional work experience in a museum or related education/research organization or an equivalent combination of
 - MA plus ten (10) years of professional experience or
 - Ph. D plus three(3) years of professional experience
  ㅇFluency of Korean or English to conduct research
  ㅇPerson in good health to carry out the research in residence
 D. Financial Support
  ㅇRecipient's round-trip economy airfare to/from South Korea
  ㅇAccommodation provided near the museum in Seoul
  ㅇ Stipend about ₩1,500,000 - 2,000,000 (equivalent to $1300 -1740, as of Jan. 18th, 2010) per month dependent upon qualification, education and experience
  ㅇSome incentives may be provided during the program
  ㅇHealth Insurance
  ㅇOffice space provided for research at the National Museum of Korea
 E. Research Activities
  ㅇIncluding the opportunities of academic researches & seminar
 - Interim report, the final research article & its academic seminar
       ※ For more details will be notified upon the final notification.
  ㅇMonthly colloquium held
 - Discussing the research related topic
  ㅇPublic lecture
 - Possible topic : Main fields of the fellowship recipient's research or career
 - Targeted audiences and the ranges : General public (50 ~ 150 persons)

2.Application Progress and Selection
 ㅇSelection Process
- 1st Selection : Application material Review(April 2010)
- 2nd Selection : Telephone Interview(April 2010)
- Final Notification : It will be posted after reviewing the Certificate of the health Examination (May 2010)
      ※ No applicants may be awarded if no ones are qualified.

3.Required Materials
 ㅇCompleted and signed Application
- 1 Curriculum Vitae (Certified documents for any evidences should be added in the application packet)
- 1 Letter of Biography and Professional Experience (2-3 pages, A4, 12 points, double-spaced)
- Research Proposal (At least 5 pages, A4, 12 points, double-spaced) should include objectives, significance, method and necessity of the residential research.

 ㅇOne original certificate of the most recent academic degree
 ㅇOne original transcript of the most recent academic school
 ㅇEvidence of employment (if applicable), with its duration, title of position and responsibilities in details.
 ㅇTwo letters of recommendation (should be confidential, in sealed envelops and a signature on the seal)

4.Application Procedure and Submission.

  ㅇAll the completed application packet and letters of recommendation should be received on or before March 31, 2010.
 C.Submission
  ㅇAll the completed application material should be delivered only by registered posts.
  ㅇIncomplete applications shall not be reviewed.
  ㅇAny documents not in either Korean or English shall be provided with the notarized translations either in Korean or in English.
