The National Museum of Korea (Director General Yi Young-Hoon) is pleased to invite all the children and youth to the drawing festival where young people can appreciate the Museum’s collection and recreate their impressions into the arts. We welcome your active support and participation.
1. Festival Outline
○ Title: The 41st Drawing Festival of National Museum of Korea
○ Date: 09:00 AM – 12:30 PM, Monday, May 30, 2016
○ Meeting place: Great Hall in Permanent Exhibition Hall of National Museum of Korea
○ Participants: Any student (up to thirty students per school) who is enrolled in Elementary, Middle
or High School that is located in Korea (International schools are included)
○ No. of participants: Max. 1,000 students who are attending Elementary, Middle or High Schools
○ Place: Permanent Exhibition Hall, Main Auditorium, Great Hall within the National Museum of Korea
○ Organizer: National Museum of Korea
2. Application Details
○ Application: Fill out the application form and have it signed and sealed by the principal or
headmaster of your school and then submit it to the Museum.
※ You may download the application form from this site.
※ Please make sure that each application form has been signed or sealed officially
by the principal or headmaster of your school.
○ Application period: April 18, 2016 - May 6, 2016
○ Submission: Via email only (education@museum.go.kr / museumeducation@korea.kr)
※ Submission is on a first-come-first-served basis.
(Private institutions are not eligible for the application.)
※ Please refer to the attached application form.

○ Announcement of participants: 17:00 PM, Friday, May 13, 2016 at the website (www.museum.go.kr)
3. Announcement of Prize Winners and Exhibition
○ Announcement: 17:00 PM, Friday, June 24, 2016 via the Museum’s website and individual notice
to the school
※ The certificates of merit and prizes will be sent to each school via mail.
○ Exhibition: August of 2016, In the lobby on the way to the Children’s Museum at the National
Museum of Korea
