Application Guide for the 40th Drawing Festival of National Museum of Korea
The National Museum of Korea (Director Youngna Kim) is pleased to invite all the children and youth to the drawing festival where young people can appreciate the Museum’s collection and recreate their impressions into the arts. We welcome your active support and participation.
1. Festival Outline
○ Title: Drawing Festival of National Museum of Korea
○ Date: 09:00 AM – 12:30 PM, Monday, May 4, 2015
○ Meeting place: Great Hall in Permanent Exhibition Hall of National Museum of Korea
○ Participants: Any student (up to thirty students per school) who is enrolled in Elementary, Middle or High
School that is located in Korea (International schools are included)
○ No. of participants: Max. 1,000 students who are attending Elementary, Middle or High Schools
○ Place: Permanent Exhibition Hall, Main Auditorium, Great Hall, and Education Center within the National Museum of Korea
○ Organizer: National Museum of Korea
2. Application Details
○ Application: Fill out the application form and have it signed and sealed by the principal or headmaster of your school and then submit it to the Museum.
※ You may download the application form from this site.
※ Please make sure that each application form has been signed or sealed officially by the principal or headmaster of your school.
○ Application period: April 1, 2015 - April 15, 2015 *It is extended until April 17th(Friday)
○ Submission: Via facsimile only (FAX: 02-2077-9942)
※ Submission is on a first-come-first-served basis. (Private institutions are not eligible for the application.)
※ Please refer to the attached application form.

○ Entry Announcement: 17:00 PM, April 23, 2015 at the website (www.museum.go.kr)
3. Announcement of Prize Winners and Exhibition
○ Announcement: 17:00 PM, May 28, 2015 via the Museum’s website and individual notice to the school
○ Awards: 4 awards from the Minister of Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, 16 awards from the Director of National Museum of Korea and many more, Culture Gift Certificate
○ Exhibition: August of 2015, In the lobby on the way to the Children’s Museum at the National Museum of Korea
※ The certificates of merit and prizes will be sent to each school via mail.
