This gilt-bronze pensive Bodhisattva was unearthed from Andong, Gyeongsangbuk-do. Usually, a pensive Bodhisattva is characterized by the forefinger and the middle finger of the right hand touching the face, but this one shows all the fingers of the right hand touching the face. It is presumed that this statue was made during the Silla Period as it differs from those made in the Goguryeo and Baekje Periods.
