This gold crown of Silla excavated from the Geumnyeongchong Tomb is differs significantly from other gold crowns due to the use of standing ornaments with four-tier rather than three-tier branches, gold spangles, and the absence of curved jade beads. It has three oppositely branched standing ornaments and a pair of antler-shaped ornaments whose branches were made separately before attaching them to each other using nails. The band is decorated with embossed lines of dots along its upper and lower edges. The ornaments on both sides of the band were not originally in the position shown but were inadvertently scattered around the crown upon its discovery. The crown is comparatively smaller and undecorated with curved jade drops, exhibiting a much simpler appearance than other Silla crowns.
