This is a painting of a banquet held to celebrate the 60th birthday of three officials born in 1551 (the 6th year of King Myeongjong’s reign). The title of the painting is at the top, while the names of the three officials, i.e., Yi Dae-gi, Jeong In-jun, and Hong Sun, along with their official positions and clan seat, are recorded at the bottom. Produced in 1626 (the 4th year of King Injo’s reign), this painting displays the characteristics of a genre painting depicting the life of men of letters. The clear information on its production year makes this painting even more valuable.
